EASTER WEEK

27th of March

The last Wednesday, we received a visit of two second level´s parents. They were talking about the Easter week, their brotherhood of "Santo Sepulcro", their costumes, our culture, our religion, senses in this time and sense of penance, our processions, sculptures and music (steps, movements with the rythymn of the music, easter band, music-instruments and voices)


El pasado Miércoles, recibimos la visita de dos padres de 2º de Primaria. Estuvieron hablándonos acerca de la Semana Santa, de su Cofradía el "Santo Sepulclro", de sus trajes procesionales, de nuestra cultura, nuestra religión, los sentimientos en esta época del año y sentimientos de penitencia, nuestras procesiones, esculturas y música (pasos, movimientos al unísono, banda de semana santa, instrumentos musicales y cantos).

27th of March-1st Level: Music-lesson

We linked up the visit with the music-lesson. We were watching processions, listening music-instruments of the Easter band, dancing and making theatre to rate the music,with the beat of the Snare drums, Tom-toms, Bass drum, Cymbals, Rattles, Bugles, Trumpets, Trombones, Tubas, Clarinets, Oboes, Bassons and Saxos

Relacionamos la visita que acabábamos de tener con la clase de música. Estuvimos viendo procesiones en la pizarra digital, escuchando instrumentos de bandas de semana santa, bailando y dramatizando al ritmo de la música , con el pulso y ritmo de Tambores, Cajas, Bombos, Platillos, Carracas y Matracas, Cornetas, Trompetas, Trombones, Tubas, Clarinetes, Oboes, Fagots y Saxos.

28th of March-2nd Level: Music-lesson

We connect the last visit with the music class in the 2nd Level. We were watching processions too. We listened, watched and guessed music-instruments of the Easter Band (Snare drums, Tom-toms, Bass drum, Cymbals, Rattles, Buggles Trumpets, Trombones, French horns, Flugelhorns, Saxhorns, Tubas, Flutes, Clarinets, Oboes, Bassons) and We learnt one instrument´s family more: Wind´s Family, and the difference between Woodwind and Brass instruments.
Then We played Orff-instruments (Finger cymbals, Wood blocks, Triangles, Psalteries, Cymbals, Rattles, Castanets..) and with Tom-tom, some "ostinatos" (It´s a music form that it´s based in different pieces of music that is constantly repeated) like if we were an Easter band too.


We continue enjoying of The New Family and the 2 types of wind-instruments(woodwind and brass) we will learn more about them when we will came back after the holidays. Relacionamos la visita del día anterior con nuestra clase de música de 2º de Primaria,
También estuvimos viendo procesiones. Escuchamos, vimos y adivinamos instrumentos musicales de la Banda de Música de Semana Santa (Tambores, Cajas, Bombo, Platillos, Matracas y Carracas, Cornetas, Trompetas, Trombones, Trompas, Fliscornios (cornetas con llaves más pequeñas que la trompeta), Bombardinos (tuba tenor, tradicional en España en Semana Santa, es más alargada y el sonido es más dulce), Tubas, Flautas traveseras, Clarinetes, Oboes, Fagots..) y aprendimos una familia de instrumentos nueva: Familia de Viento, y la diferencia entre los instrumentos de Viento-madera y de Viento metal.


Luego tocamos con instrumentación Orff (instrumentos de percusión indeterminada) (Crótalos, Cajas Chinas, Triángulos, Salterios, Platillos, Castañuelas..) y con una Caja de Semana Santa, algunos ostinatos (forma musical basada en la repetición constante de uno o varios fragmentos musicales en este caso rítmicos)
